Shoulder Periarthritis Wine
Wu Xin Wine Soaking Solution
[Drug Composition] Sichuan aconite root 300g, fine cinnamon 150g
[Function and Indications] Warms meridians, dispels cold and dampness, activates blood, unblocks collaterals, relieves pain.
[Dosage and Administration] Use in conjunction with direct current drug delivery therapy instrument. Treat once daily, 30 minutes per session. Two weeks constitute one course; typically one to three courses. Patients perform shoulder joint exercises independently.

[Drug Composition] Pinellia ternata 30g, ginseng 30g, angelica root 30g, qianghuo 30g, processed aconite root 60g, mulberry branch 30g, fine cinnamon 60g, 60-degree white wine 2000ml
[Function and Indications] Expels wind, dispels cold, unblocks collaterals, relieves pain. Treats periarthritis of the shoulder joint.
[Dosage and Administration] Perform manipulation daily, simultaneously rub the wine onto the affected area. Daily practice of wall-climbing exercise, rubbing the wine onto the shoulder, massaging while rubbing. Six days constitute one course.
[Preparation Method] Soak herbs in wine for one week.

Note: A hospital treated 104 cases of periarthritis of the shoulder joint with this wine, combined with manual therapy including relaxation techniques, shoulder rotation, and acupuncture, plus patient self-practice of wall-climbing exercises. Results: 42 cases showed complete disappearance of symptoms and full recovery of shoulder function; 49 cases showed near-complete symptom resolution, mild symptoms only after exertion, free shoulder movement, no impact on work.
Frankincense and Myrrh Wine
[Drug Composition] Frankincense and myrrh, blood-activating resin, natural copper, earth bug, each 100g; angelica root, gardenia, each 100g; Sichuan pepper 50g; fine cinnamon 30g; safflower 100g; camphor 30g; bone-penetrating herb 100g
[Function and Indications] Warms meridians, activates blood, expels wind, relieves pain. Treats shoulder impingement syndrome.
[Dosage and Administration] Use Zhou Lin spectrum therapy instrument aimed at tender points, 30–40cm from skin (adjustable to patient’s tolerance), shake the wine, pour into a curved tray (use immediately to avoid volatilization), saturate cotton balls evenly, apply to shoulder peak and supraspinous fossa lateral side, reapply every 10 minutes, once daily. Ten days constitute one course.
[Preparation Method] Add 2500ml of 75% ethanol (alcohol) to the herbs. First crush frankincense, myrrh, and blood-activating resin into small pieces, crush gardenia, then mix with other herbs and place in a large bottle containing ethanol, seal, soak for one week, then reserve.

[Dosage and Administration] Based on individual tolerance, 20–50ml daily, consumed during lunch and dinner, and can be applied externally for massage. Seven days constitute one course; typically two to three courses.
[Preparation Method] Soak herbs in wine. Seal the jar in early May and bury in soil 50cm deep in courtyard. Uncover and open in mid-September.

[Function and Indications] Regulates spleen and stomach, activates blood, nourishes blood, dispels cold, removes dampness, resolves phlegm.
[Dosage and Administration] 10ml each time, twice daily after meals, warm consumption. Fifteen days constitute one course; typically two to three courses.
[Preparation Method] Coarsely grind herbs, soak in white wine. Soak five days in summer, ten days in winter, filter out residue, take supernatant.

Shoulder Bi Wine
[Drug Composition] Angelica, angelica root each 15g; eucommia 20g; achyranthes, gentiana, acorus tatarinowii, continue, ligusticum each 18g; astragalus, ginseng each 12g; goji berry, clematis, cinnamon twig each 12g; fine cinnamon 6g
[Function and Indications] Tonifies qi and kidneys, activates blood, expels wind. Treats periarthritis of the shoulder joint.
[Dosage and Administration] 10ml each time, twice daily (morning and evening), continuous for ten days as one course. Receive meridian conduction therapy once daily, 30 minutes per session, ten days as one course.
[Preparation Method] Add above herbs to 2L of white wine, seal and soak for twenty days, stir every five days. After twenty days, filter the supernatant, add appropriate sugar.
