Niu Xi Dan Shen Wine Formula (Foot Qi)

[Formula] Achyranthes, Salvia, Coix Seed, Fresh Rehmannia each 250 grams, Five-leaf Ginseng, White Atractylodes each 150 grams, Side Seed (roasted), Herba Epimedii, Red Poria, Windproof each 120 grams, Du Huo, Stonecrop each 180 grams, Wormwood Leaf, Cinnamon Heart, Sky-Root (roasted), Ginseng, Szechwan Lovage, Stone Bucket Leaf (charred) each 90 grams, Fine Ginger, Elevator Herb each 60 grams, Magnetite (quenched seven times in wine) 500 grams, Ginger 150 grams, White Wine 5000 milliliters.
[Preparation] Coarsely crush the first 22 ingredients, place in a cloth bag, put in a container, add white wine, seal tightly (do not allow air in), soak for 7 days, ready for use.
[Function] Tonifies qi and blood, expels wind-dampness, warms meridians and dispels cold, relaxes tendons and opens channels.
[Indication] Foot qi, discomfort in legs worsens in winter; or inability to flex and extend joints, numbness of skin, swelling and fullness of fingers/toes, or limb edema, straight lower back and shins.
[Usage] Oral. Take 10–20 milliliters empty stomach, five times daily, always maintain a continuous sensation of wine. Non-drinkers should take small amounts frequently, until sensation is felt.
[Note] Quoted from "Comprehensive Record of Holy Remedies". In the "Pujifang" version, the first four ingredients each 15 grams, Fine Ginger and Elevator Herb each changed to 90 grams. Others remain same.
