Achyranthes Wine (Foot Qi)
[Formula] Achyranthes root, processed side-fruit (Zi), Salvia miltiorrhiza, Cornus fruit, Fructus Tribuli, Eucommia bark, raw Dendrobium, each 60 grams; Saposhnikovia divaricata, Sichuan pepper, fine cinnamon, Angelica pubescens, Gentiana macrophylla, cinnamon heart, Coix seed, Ligusticum chuanxiong, Angelica sinensis, white Atractylodes, Herba Pseudocarpus (roasted), each 45 grams; roasted Acanthopanax bark 75 grams; processed ginger 30 grams; white wine 4500 milliliters.
[Preparation] Crush the first 20 herbs into coarse powder, place in cloth bag, put into container, add white wine, seal, soak for 3–7 days, then use.
[Function] Expel wind, warm meridians, activate blood, unblock channels.
[Indication] Foot qi damp-stagnation with numbness, weak legs, unable to walk.
[Usage] Oral administration. Start with 10 milliliters, gradually increase as tolerated, two to three times daily. Best for patients with blurred vision or dizziness.
