Eczema, Rash, and Tinea Wine
Cicada Shell Rice Wine
[Drug Composition] Cicada Shell 3g, Rice Wine 50ml
[Function and Indication] Urticaria. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, known as "Wu Liu" or "Yin Zhen."
[Usage and Dosage] Warmly take an appropriate amount; reduce dosage for children.
[Preparation Method] First grind cicada shell into fine powder, then boil rice wine with 250ml of water in a pot until boiling. Pour the hot wine into a bowl, then mix in the cicada shell powder thoroughly.

[Note] Cicada shell is sweet and cold, dispersing wind-heat, promoting eruption, relieving spasms; glutinous rice wine is warm and sweet, dispelling wind, awakening spirit, promoting blood circulation, spreading to the skin, accelerating drug effect. Two cases treated showed complete disappearance of rash within one day.
Tomato Root Wine
[Drug Composition] White Tomato Root (dried) 50g (or use fresh root 100g), White Spirit (60°) 30ml
[Function and Indication] Allergic Urticaria.
[Usage and Dosage] Apply externally to affected area.
[Preparation Method] Wash white tomato root clean of mud and sand, cut into fragments, then soak in white spirit for one week for storage.
[Precautions] Ineffective for urticaria caused by alcohol allergy.

[Drug Composition] Nine-Li-Xiang, One-Branch Yellow Flower (Large-leaf Seven-Star Sword), Sheep's Foot Grass, Half-Side Lotus, Hair Fragrance, Lacquer Big Mother, Lao Ge Wang, Three-Point Bitterness, Ground Gold Bull, Snake Total Tube, each 5 qian
[Function and Indication] Rice-induced Dermatitis.
[Usage and Dosage] For skin with itching, erosion, and exudation: apply wine externally to affected area, 3–4 times daily; for swelling and pain predominant: apply medicinal residue externally, once daily.
[Preparation Method] Use dried herbs, crush into powder, mix together, add 1L of 60° rice wine or 75% alcohol, soak for seven days before use.

Sulfur Centipede Wine
[Drug Composition] Sulfur 20g, Realgar 10g, Carbolic Acid 4g, Centipede 1 piece, 5% Ethanol 100ml
[Function and Indication] Folliculitis.
[Usage and Dosage] First wash head with 2%-3% saline solution, dry, then apply medicine, once or twice daily.
[Preparation Method] Grind sulfur, realgar, centipede into powder, mix with carbolic acid and ethanol into a thin paste, store in dark bottle for later use.

Camphor Ice Wine
[Drug Composition] Camphor 10g, Ice Crystal 3g, 95% Ethanol 100ml
[Function and Indication] Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-pruritic.
[Usage and Dosage] Soak gauze in medicated liquid and rub on affected area for 10–20 minutes each time.
[Preparation Method] Mix all ingredients uniformly for immediate use.

Ice and Rhubarb Wine
[Drug Composition] Raw Rhubarb 6g, Coptis 5g, Ice Crystal 4g
[Function and Indication] Heat Rash.
[Usage and Dosage] Dip cotton swab in medicated wine and apply to affected area, 3–5 times daily.
[Preparation Method] Place three herbs in bottle, add 150ml of white wine (or 75% ethanol), cover and gently shake to ensure full dissolution; ready for use.

Coriander Wine
[Drug Composition] Coriander 3 taels
[Function and Indication] Promote rapid eruption of blisters. Treats unripe or poorly erupted rashes in weak children, where rashes fail to rise or appear red and healthy.
[Usage and Dosage] Lightly spray from neck down onto back, abdomen, and both feet of child; avoid face if insufficient. Spray room curtains and hang coriander frequently to ward off foul odors, or have mother drink wine.
[Preparation Method] Boil two bowls of good wine, bring to several boils, add coriander, simmer again, cover tightly with lid to prevent vapor escape, cool, then filter out residue.
[Precautions] Not suitable for children with robust constitution and severe heat-toxin accumulation.

Sulfur Wine
[Drug Composition] Sulfur 2 qian
[Function and Indication] Treats aversion to wind, eruptions on head, face, limbs, and lymph node swellings.
[Usage and Dosage] Take wine on empty stomach in appropriate amounts; grind residue finely, mix with wine and drink, continue for several days.
[Preparation Method] Use transparent sharp sulfur 2 qian, grind finely in mortar, then mix with alcohol and grind further.
