[Composition] Dragon's Blood 3g, Angelica sinensis 10g, Safflower 10g, Cinnamon twig 10g, Gentiana 15g, Notoginseng 5g, Corydalis tuber 10g, Paris polyphylla 15g, Caesalpinia sappan 15g, Chicken Blood Vine 30g, Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii 10g, Earthworm 10g
[Function and Indication] Activating blood circulation, removing stasis, warming meridians and relieving pain; used for osteophytic spondylitis.
[Usage and Dosage] Pour about 30ml of herbal wine into an enamel basin, ignite it. The practitioner dips hands into the liquid and rapidly slaps the painful or numb areas on the patient, starting gently and gradually increasing force until the flame goes out. Perform once daily or every other day; ten sessions constitute one course. The practitioner must immediately slap after dipping hands into the wine to avoid burns. Contraindicated for patients with hypertension, heart disease, menstruation, pregnancy, or local skin diseases.
[Preparation Method] Soak the above herbs in over 50% alcohol liquor (1000ml) for more than two weeks, then filter.
