Dingbo Ointment (Caterpillar Dermatitis)
[Formula] Clove 30g, menthol 5g, 95% alcohol 750ml.
[Preparation] Grind clove finely, place in container, add 95% alcohol, seal tightly, shake frequently, soak for more than 3 days (to ensure extraction of active components), then filter through gauze to remove residue. Add menthol to the filtrate, wait until dissolved, then bottle and seal for storage.
[Function] Anti-inflammatory, analgesic.
[Indication] Caterpillar dermatitis, unbearable pain.
[Usage] External use. First use adhesive tape to remove embedded venomous hairs from skin, then dip cotton swab in medicine and rub on affected area, 2–3 times daily.
