Heart-Soothing Analgesic Wine
[Drug Composition] Gentiana Macrophylla, Qianghuo, Angelica Sinensis, Stretching Grass, Processed South Star, Coix Seed each 15g Cinnamon Twig, Whole Scorpion each 10g Papaya, Eucommia Ulmoides each 20g Sea Horse 2 pieces Centipede 4 pieces
[Function and Indications] Dispel wind, unblock collaterals, activate blood circulation, relieve pain. Treats sciatica.
[Usage and Dosage] Take once in the morning and once at night, 20–30ml each time; one course lasts for fifteen days.
[Preparation Method] Soak the above herbs in a basin with cold water until moistened, then filter and dry. Place them into an earthen jar, add grain wine so that the liquid level is about 3.5cm below the jar rim (approximately 15ml), cover the jar opening with white paper, and press down with a sand bag. Place the jar on low heat and simmer until steam appears at the edge of the paper (visible droplets). Remove the jar, cool, filter out the residue, and take the liquid.
