[Herbal Composition] Equal parts Tianmen Dong (Asparagus root), Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogon), Shu Di (cooked Rehmannia), Sheng Di (raw Rehmannia), Shan Yao (Dioscorea), Lian Rou (lotus seed), Hong Zao (red date)
[Function and Indications] Nourish yin, consolidate kidney, strengthen spleen. Suitable for symptoms caused by yin deficiency and insufficient essence combined with spleen weakness: weak waist, premature graying hair, restlessness, poor appetite.
[Dosage and Administration] Drink as appropriate.
[Preparation Method] Mix all herbs evenly; for every 210g of mixed herbs, add 2.5L wine, prepare using hot infusion method.
Note: "Sun wine" refers to wine brewed in winter and matured through spring. The Book of Songs says: "This spring wine is made to bless long life." "Mei shou" (blessed longevity) refers to long life, as elderly people grow long eyebrows called "xiu mei," hence longevity is called "mei shou." The name "Sun shou wine" implies the power to extend life and ward off aging.
