Goji-Cinnamon Bark Wine — formerly named “Goji Wine”
[Herbal Composition] 120 catties of dried goji root (cut), 2.5 catties of dried Rehmannia powder, 1 sheng each of cinnamon bark, dried ginger, alisma, Sichuan pepper powder, 2 sheng of periploca powder
[Function and Indications] Strengthen body and eliminate illness.
[Dosage and Administration] Take half sheng on an empty stomach in the morning.
[Preparation Method] Boil goji root with four shi of water for one full day and night, collect 1 shi of clear juice. Soak yeast, brew like regular home-made wine. When fermentation completes, extract clear juice. Place Rehmannia, cinnamon bark, dried ginger, alisma, Sichuan pepper powder, and periploca powder in a silk bag, put into the wine base, seal tightly, bury underground 3 feet deep, press soil firmly, leave for 21 days before retrieval.
