Comment: Although named Ba Zhen Wine, it differs from the Eight Treasures Decoction; instead, it adds five-leaf aralia, red dates, and walnut meat to the Eight Treasures Decoction. Five-leaf aralia excels at dispelling wind-dampness and strengthening tendons and bones; red dates tonify spleen and stomach; walnut meat warms and supplements lung and kidney. Thus, this wine not only replenishes both qi and blood but also expels wind-dampness, aids fatigue recovery, strengthens spirit, and improves complexion.
