Persimmon Seed Cinnabar Wine
[Drug Composition] Persimmon seeds (soaked in boiling water, peeled, de-embryo, double-seed removed, stir-fried with bran until slightly yellow, finely ground) 2 sheng; Cinnabar (finely ground) 2 taels
[Function and Indications] Treats muscle and tendon spasms with pain, nourishes blood, promotes flesh growth, eliminates fatigue, and enhances skin luster.
[Preparation Method] Place the above herbs into two porcelain bottles filled with 3 dou of high-quality alcohol without ash. Add persimmon seeds and cinnabar to each dou sequentially, seal the bottle mouths, and follow the standard method for brewing wine.
[Caution] Avoid lamb blood; cinnabar contains mercury, so do not take in large quantities or for extended periods.
