Comment: Notoginseng in this formula activates blood circulation, removes stasis, relieves injury-related pain, and has excellent hemostatic properties—thus it is the primary herb. Other herbs assist by relieving pain through qi regulation, dispelling wind-dampness, nourishing yin-blood, warming yang, and dispersing cold—providing certain efficacy for trauma due to falls or injuries.
