[Composition] Aconite (or Monkshood) 1000g Red Root (or raw Pinellia, Amorphophallus) 1000g Turmeric 500g Heavenly Grass (or Blood Full Grass) 500g Earthy Sanqi (or Seven Leaves One Flower) 500g Purple Violet 200g Eight-angled Maple 200g Sappanwood 200g Phellodendron 500g Gardenia 500g Persica 200g Hundred Spirit Grass 300g Five-Scented Vine 100g Buttercup 300g Betel Pepper 500g Thunder God Vine 300g Green Bone Vine 200g Four Blocks Tile 300g Leek Root 500g Frankincense and Myrrh each 100g Flat Bamboo Orchid (or Belamcanda) 200g Dogwood 100g Borneol 50g
[Efficacy and Indications] Reduces swelling and relieves pain, relaxes tendons and activates blood circulation. Treats trauma, fatigue damage, rheumatic numbness, unknown swellings and toxins, insect bites, toothache from cavities, etc.
[Dosage and Administration] Soak gauze in the wine or make rubbing cotton balls; rub on affected areas and nearby acupoints every 10–20 minutes, once or twice daily. For unknown swellings and insect bites, apply without rubbing. For toothache from cavities, insert a small cotton ball tightly into the cavity, bite teeth together until pain subsides, then remove.
[Preparation Method] Grind all herbs into coarse powder, soak in 75% ethanol (alcohol) for 10 days, filter to obtain wine. Residue re-soaks with more alcohol for 5 days, filter again. Combine both filtrates and bottle.

[Note] ① This wine contains many highly toxic herbs; wash hands after contact to prevent ingestion. ② Do not apply to open wounds or sores to avoid systemic absorption and poisoning. ③ For toothache, use a small cotton ball soaked in medicine, squeeze dry, accurately insert into the cavity, close teeth tightly. Pain disappears when removed. ④ The formula includes many herbs; if formulation is difficult, selecting only 12 herbs still yields significant results. Using just aconite, pinellia, five-scented vine, purple violet, and gardenia also shows effectiveness. ⑤ Adding a small amount of musk further enhances therapeutic effect.
