Three Snake and Rehmannia Wine — Formerly known as "Three Snake Wine"
[Drug Composition] Uromastyx snake 1500g Large White Flowered Snake 200g Brittle Snake 100g Raw Rehmannia glutinosa 500g Rock Sugar 5000g White Wine 10L
[Function and Indications] Expel wind and dampness, unblock meridians, dissipate stasis and swelling, calm spasms, clear heat, and nourish yin. Used for painful joints and bones due to wind-cold-damp, limb numbness, limited joint mobility, hemiplegia, bruises and pain from trauma, convulsions and seizures caused by wind invading the meridians. Also applicable to patients with bone tuberculosis and sequelae of stroke.
[Dosage and Administration] Take appropriately.
[Preparation Method] Cut off heads of the three snakes, wash with wine, cut into short segments, dry in sun. Wash raw rehmannia, remove soil, chop finely. Place rock sugar in a pot with appropriate water, gently heat until dissolved and syrup turns yellow, then stop heating. Filter while hot using gauze. Put white wine, raw rehmannia, and the three snakes into a wine jar, cover tightly, seal, soak for 10 to 15 days, stirring once daily. After soaking period, open the jar, filter and clarify. Add the rock sugar syrup, mix thoroughly, filter again to obtain the final product.
