[Drug Composition] Hemp seeds (fire hemp)
[Function and Indications] Treat bone marrow wind-toxin pain, immobility, intestinal wind-toxin, and dry constipation.
[Dosage and Administration] Take one dose warm on an empty stomach.
[Preparation Method] Soak fire hemp seeds in water, collect the sedimented ones—about one large sheng—dry in sun, place in silver vessel, slowly roast until fragrant and cooked. Transfer to mortar and pound until pulverized into fine white powder (about ten thousand strokes). Divide evenly into ten portions. Each portion: mix with one large bowl of homemade clear wine, use willow pestle to grind in earthen mortar, strain to remove husks, simmer until reduced by half. Alternatively, place fire hemp seeds in cloth bag and soak directly in wine.
