Facial Slimming Acupoints
Even with a slim figure, a round face can still make one appear plump. Thus, achieving a slimmer face has become a popular concern among beauty enthusiasts. Traditional Chinese medicine’s facial acupuncture can similarly achieve facial "weight loss."
In facial acupuncture, stimulating facial and ear acupoints helps rejuvenate tired, puffy faces. Simply perform this routine once daily for one hour. After two weeks, visible results will appear. However, start slowly and gradually increase intensity—eventually, you can even combine it with facial masks during treatment.
Baihui: Prevents overeating and constipation. The vertex point where a line drawn from the tops of both ears meets at the crown of the head. It calms the mind and prevents overindulgence.
Zanzhu: Relieves eye fatigue and puffiness. Located in the depression just below the eyebrow. Eye strain and headaches often cause swelling around the eyes. This point alleviates discomfort.
Taiyang: Reduces eye fatigue and puffiness. About one finger-width backward from the side of the eye and eyebrow, near the hairline. Promotes metabolism.
Chengqi: Addresses sagging under-eye bags. Located directly below the eyeball, near the orbital bone. Since gastric prolapse often causes under-eye bagging, this point strengthens stomach function and prevents sagging.
Qiuhou: Enhances small intestine function. Located directly below the outer corner of the eye, on the cheekbone. Helps regulate small intestine function and improve absorption.
Yingxiang: Alleviates shoulder pain and nasal congestion. Located beside the nostril, directly below the eye. This point reduces eye puffiness, prevents skin laxity, and relieves shoulder pain.
Jiache: Reduces cheek puffiness. Slide your fingers up along the jawline to find a depression—the location of this point. It effectively eliminates facial fat caused by excessive sugar intake.
Dicang: Suppresses appetite. Located about 0.5 cm beside the mouth corner. Persistent high stomach temperature stimulates appetite, so this point lowers gastric temperature and curbs hunger.
Chengjiang: Reduces chest puffiness. Found in the central depression between the lower lip and chin. Regulates hormone secretion, maintains skin firmness, and prevents facial sagging.
Tiantu: Promotes water elimination. Located internally on the skin below the thyroid cartilage. Stimulates the thyroid gland, boosts metabolism, and removes excess facial water.
