Press Two Points to Alleviate Dizziness in Hot Weather

🔑 Keywords: Other · Acupuncture and Tuina
When mental exhaustion from excessive brain use occurs, people often unconsciously press the forehead or lightly tap it with fists—this actually stimulates two important head acupoints: "Yintang" and "Shenting."
Yintang is an extra-meridian point. The *Damo Secret Manual* lists it as one of the "Rejuvenation Methods," highlighting its importance. Shenting belongs to the Governor Vessel and has therapeutic effects on the nervous system. Pressing these two points effectively relieves headaches and dizziness, restoring mental vitality. Simultaneous stimulation complements each other, enhancing effectiveness.
Yintang lies at the midpoint of the line connecting the two eyebrows. Place your middle finger on Yintang and press firmly for 10 times. Then rotate clockwise 20–30 times, followed by counterclockwise 20–30 times.
Shenting lies about half an inch above Yintang, at the center of the hairline. The rubbing method is identical to that of Yintang.
