Using Acupressure Points to Boost Appetite
When sudden hunger strikes, how do you overcome it? Try these simple acupressure techniques:
Method 1: Press your index finger firmly on the Renzhong point (between the upper lip and nose), pressing rapidly 30 times within 10 seconds. This instantly eliminates the sensation of hunger. However, avoid doing this in public places as it may draw attention.
Method 2: When craving snacks, press the inner wrist with the tips of your index and middle fingers, then slowly move downward along the thumb side toward the little finger.
Method 3: When tempted to eat excessively, press the center point between the ribcage and navel using the fingertips of your index and middle fingers, performing 30 presses within 10 seconds. This creates a feeling of fullness in the stomach, effectively reducing hunger.
Method 4: When stressed or anxious, appetite often increases. In such cases, press your palms together and apply pressure from below the index finger all the way up to the elbow joint. This helps relieve tension and reduce stress.
