Self-Massage for Gynecological Disorders
For migraines: press and massage the lower parts of both big toes simultaneously with both hands for about 5 minutes to relieve headache symptoms.
For chest tightness:
Use the palms to massage along the rib cage from inside out, alternating hands. Coordinate with breathing—inhale slowly through the nose, exhale slowly through the mouth.
For breast engorgement:
Commonly seen before menstruation. Massage both breasts, moving from outside toward the nipple in vertical and horizontal directions with gentle palm strokes.
For menstrual irregularities:
Massage the outer sides of both knees and the inner sides of both ankles with palms, applying moderate pressure until a sensation of soreness and distension is felt.
For dysmenorrhea:
Massage the lower abdomen between the navel and pubic bone with palms, moving up and down, left and right, adjusting speed and pressure according to tolerance.
For constipation:
Massage around the navel in clockwise and counterclockwise directions, 100 times each. Then push upward from the right abdomen, move leftward across the upper middle abdomen, and finally push downward from the left abdomen.
