Acupoint Massage Beauty Therapy
This method achieves beauty effects by massaging along the meridian pathways and acupoints. It has functions such as unblocking meridians, promoting blood and qi circulation, nourishing internal organs, moisturizing skin, reducing wrinkles, and darkening hair. It is suitable for skin laxity, hair changes, and other conditions caused by aging. The massage techniques are the same as those used in general massage therapy. It shows good cosmetic effects for forehead lines, crow's feet, dull complexion, gray or sparse hair, underdeveloped breasts, and skin laxity. However, massage should not be performed too frequently. Perform once in the morning and once in the evening daily, each session lasting about 20 minutes. Techniques should be gentle; avoid rubbing or scratching the skin with nails. Do not massage along the direction of wrinkles. When massaging the face and head, first warm your hands or apply a warm towel to the face for several minutes before beginning. This method is contraindicated for damaged skin areas or individuals with contagious dermatological conditions.
Firming Skin Massage Beauty Method
This method applies to generalized skin laxity and uses massage along meridians and acupoints to achieve beauty purposes. Begin from the top down to the feet: start at the inner canthus of the eye, move downward to the mouth area, then the inner sides of both breasts and inguinal regions, continue down the thighs and outer sides of the lower legs, and finally reach the dorsum of the foot. Follow the course of the Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian, using a brush or massage device for strong stimulation over five times. Then stimulate along the Large Intestine Meridian on the back of the hand—moving from the shoulder through the elbow and forearm to the tips of the index and little fingers—with vertical stimulation five times. For the Kidney and Liver Meridians on the dorsum of the foot, massage from the clavicle down through the inner side of the breast, then further down through the abdomen and inner thigh to the sole of the foot, applying gentle stimulation from top to bottom ten times. Massage along the Bladder Meridian on the back: starting from the scapular region, separate left and right and descend along both sides of the spine to the sacrum, performing intense stimulation ten times. Perform once in the morning and once in the evening, each session lasting 20 minutes.
