Ear Rubbing for Beauty and Health
The ears are closely related to the body’s physiology and health conditions. Many health preservation experts follow the theory that "the five zang organs, six fu organs, and twelve regular meridians are connected to the ears." Regularly rubbing or pinching the ears can strengthen the body. Ear rubbing: Gently grasp both earlobes with your palms, rub forward 49 times, then backward 49 times, until the ear skin shows slight redness and warmth. Perform once in the morning and once in the evening daily. After rubbing, one will feel mentally alert and radiant. For individuals suffering from chronic illnesses, rub corresponding areas afterward—for example, hypertensive patients should press the posterior groove of the ear helix downward with their thumb, applying stronger pressure downward and lighter pressure upward; hypotensive patients should reverse the pressure. Pinching method: The external shape of the ears resembles a fetus lying in the womb. Properly manipulating the earlobes can thus help delay aging and enhance beauty. Focus on gently and rhythmically pinching the central area of the earlobe using the thumb and index finger. Perform 2–3 times daily, each session lasting 1 minute. Consistent practice improves appearance and brightens the eyes.
