One, Syndrome Differentiation
1. Real Syndrome
Main Manifestations: Abdominal pain starting before menstruation, small amount of dark purple blood with clots, abdominal distension and pain, relief after clot expulsion, breast and chest distension, dark purple tongue or ecchymosis, deep wiry pulse; diffuse abdominal pain radiating to back, small amount of deep red blood with clots, white greasy coating, deep wiry pulse.
2. Deficiency Syndrome
Main Manifestations: Mild abdominal pain at end of menstruation, slight relief with warmth or pressure, small amount of pale blood, weak pulse, accompanied by cold aversion, cold extremities, pale complexion, palpitations, dizziness.
Two, Treatment
1. Real Syndrome
Prescription: Zhongji (CV3), Ciliao (BL32), Hegu (LI4), Xuehai (SP10), Diji (SP8), Taichong (LR3). Use acupuncture and moxibustion together.
Add Siman (BL17), Shuidao (ST28) for abdominal distension and pain; add Laigu (ST29), Daju (ST27) for cold abdominal pain.
2. Deficiency Syndrome
Prescription: Guanyuan (CV4), Pishu (BL20), Shenshu (BL23), Zusanli (ST36), Sanyinjiao (SP6).
Apply tonification method and moxibustion to regulate qi and blood, warm Chong and Ren vessels.
