As men age, hair is most prone to premature aging. Causes of hair loss are multifaceted. To avoid becoming one of them, the key lies in proper daily hair care and nourishment. Key points include:
1. Frequent combing
Comb hair 10 times in the morning, afternoon, and evening daily. Combine combing with scalp massage to enhance blood supply and nutrient delivery to hair roots. Use wooden or horn combs. Do not brush wet hair, as it damages hair quality.
2. Regular washing
Washing removes dirt and relieves itching, aiding scalp respiration. Wash hair 4–7 times weekly. Avoid excessively hot water. Use high-quality shampoo (water), not overly stripping detergents. Massage while washing. After washing, gently pat hair with a thick towel to absorb moisture. Let hair air-dry naturally.
3. Balanced diet
Hair loss and graying often result from insufficient essence and blood, inadequate nutrition. Eat more iron-, calcium-, and vitamin A-rich foods, and those beneficial for hair, such as milk, fruits, vegetables, and high-protein foods like fish, lean meat, and poultry.
4. Reduce mental stress
The deeper the mental stress, the faster the hair loss and graying. Maintain regular routines, ensure sufficient rest and sleep. A cheerful mood alleviates mental tension, preventing premature graying and hair loss.
