Pig Pancreas and Dried Clam Soup
Formula: 1 pig pancreas, 100 grams dried clams, 5 grams salt.
Preparation: Soak dried clams in clean water for 20 minutes, wash thoroughly, place in pot, add water, boil for about 10 minutes. Then add washed and sliced pig pancreas, simmer gently until cooked. Add salt and serve.
Function: This soup nourishes the lungs and spleen, replenishes essence and moistens dryness. Based on the principle of organ therapy—using organs to nourish organs—it shows some efficacy in treating diabetes. Suitable for drinking alone or as part of a meal, and also helps eliminate goiter.
