Soft and Tender Skin Comes from What You Eat
Estrogen is crucial for maintaining women’s secondary sexual characteristics. It keeps skin soft and delicate. However, as age advances, estrogen secretion declines, causing skin to lose luster and elasticity. To delay aging, supplementing estrogen through daily diet becomes essential.
Consume one cup of concentrated soy milk daily: Experts recommend women begin emphasizing soy-rich foods early in life. After age 30, consume at least one cup of concentrated soy milk or equivalent tofu daily. Since soy’s estrogenic effects take time to manifest, supplementation should start early.
Self-made drinks to supplement estrogen: When early menopausal symptoms appear, drink decoction of angelica root (about 10 grams daily) like tea to alleviate symptoms caused by declining estrogen. Additionally, brew hawthorn, dandelion, and ginger into tea starting at age 40, drinking it daily as a routine beverage to gradually replenish decreasing estrogen levels.
Take or apply fresh royal jelly: Women entering the premenopausal stage should consume about 10 grams of royal jelly daily to supplement estrogen. As royal jelly retains moisture, consider adding a soybean-sized amount to simple skincare products daily, massaging onto the face. This not only supplements estrogen but also helps maintain youthful appearance.
Pay attention to foods that delay skin aging: High-protein foods such as lean meat, eggs, fish, milk, and soy products. Protein is essential for the body; regular intake promotes fullness and elasticity of subcutaneous muscles.
Food rich in vitamin E: Such as sesame oil, wheat germ oil, peanut oil, lettuce leaves; also found in higher amounts in butter and cod liver oil. Vitamin E prevents oxidation of subcutaneous fat, enhances cellular vitality, and keeps skin smooth and elastic.
