Cold boiled water-brewed tea helps prevent diabetes

Cold boiled water-brewed tea helps prevent diabetes
Tea is a common beverage in daily life. However, drinking tea brewed with cold boiled water has been shown to help prevent diabetes—a novel dietary therapy conclusion derived from long-term research by Professor Morita of Japan.
Professor Morita conducted a three-year trial involving over 1,300 subjects who drank cold boiled water-brewed tea for half a year. Of them, 82% experienced significant improvement in symptoms, and 9% were completely cured.
Research revealed that tea contains a type of polysaccharide that both stimulates insulin secretion and removes excess sugar from the blood. This polysaccharide accounts for 36.8% in coarse tea leaves, 31.7% in green tea, and 19.4% in black tea. When tea is steeped with boiling water, this polysaccharide is severely degraded by heat.
