Dietary Therapy for Lead Detoxification
Carrot Milk Soup: 50 grams of carrot, cooked until soft, mashed, mixed with 200 ml of milk and consumed.
Golden Mushroom Shrimp Dumplings: 100 grams of golden mushrooms (cooked, drained), 50 grams of dried shrimp (briefly rinsed in warm water), 200 grams of lean pork. Combine all three ingredients into a paste, add seasonings to make filling, form dumplings (or wontons), and boil. Can be eaten in portions.
Garlic Kelp Porridge: 50 grams of rice, 15 grams of kelp (chopped), 2 cloves of garlic (mashed). Cook rice and kelp with water first. When porridge is ready, add garlic paste and seasonings, simmer briefly. Can be eaten in portions.
Golden Plum Drink: 10 grams of金钱草 (Lophatherum gracile), 10 grams of sour plum (Ume), 10 grams of licorice. Boil, filter out residue, yield about 300 ml, divided into three doses and consumed daily.
Licorice Mung Bean Soup: 10 grams of licorice, 50 grams of mung beans. Boil until beans are soft, no sugar added. Drink soup and eat beans.
These recipes can be alternated and require prolonged use—typically one to two months or longer—to be effective. Those with lead poisoning symptoms may try them.
