Ginseng Honey Porridge

[Ingredients] Ginseng 3 grams, honey 50 grams, ginger juice 5 milliliters, chives juice 5 milliliters, rice 100 grams.
[Preparation] Slice ginseng and soak it in clean water overnight. Combine the soaked ginseng water with washed rice in a clay pot, simmer gently to make porridge. Just before the porridge is ready, add honey, ginger juice, and fresh chives juice, stir well, then cook for a short while.
[Usage] One dose daily, divided into several portions. Each course consists of six doses. A new course may be started after a 6-10 day interval.
[Efficacy] Regulates the middle energizer, tonifies qi, moistens intestines for smooth bowel movement, and nourishes skin and body.
[Indications] Suitable for elderly people with pale complexion due to qi deficiency and those with both qi and blood deficiency presenting constipation.
[Note] Avoid strong tea and radish during consumption.
