Lotus Seed Milk Paste
[Ingredients] Stone lotus seeds 60 grams, milk 200 milliliters, sugar as needed.
[Preparation] 1. Remove hard shell from stone lotus seeds, grind into powder, mix with a small amount of water to form paste; 2. Boil milk, add sugar, when boiling, slowly pour in lotus seed paste while stirring continuously.
[Usage] Stir constantly until cooked through, consume as desired.
[Efficacy] Strengthens spleen and stomach, nourishes deficiency and calms spirit.
[Indications] For patients with gastric cancer or other cancers undergoing chemotherapy or post-treatment with weakened stomach qi, or those experiencing irritability, nausea, dizziness, and blurred vision.
[Note] Lotus seeds are sweet and mild, benefiting heart and spleen; astringent taste helps solidify essence and stop diarrhea. Used for spleen-kidney deficiency with instability, similar to lotus seed pod (Euryale ferox), with added benefit of calming the heart and spirit.
