Tea-Boiled Porridge
[Ingredients] 15 grams of tea leaves, 100 grams of glutinous rice, appropriate amount of sugar.
[Preparation] Boil tea leaves for 15 minutes to extract about 500 grams of concentrated juice. Remove tea leaves, add glutinous rice and sugar to the concentrated tea juice, then add about 400 grams of water, and cook into porridge.
[Usage] Divide into two portions, consume warm.
[Effects] Resolves phlegm and aids digestion, promotes urination and reduces swelling, boosts energy and enhances alertness. Suitable for acute and chronic dysentery and enteritis.
[Comment] Tea has stimulating and energizing effects; avoid consuming before bedtime. Tea contains tannins; those with habitual constipation should avoid it. Nursing mothers should refrain from consumption.
