Goji Berry Braised Pork Ribs

Pork ribs 1000 grams, goji berries 30 grams, seasonings as needed. Extract concentrated juice (30 ml) from goji berries using water decoction method; wash and drain the pork ribs, cut into fan-shaped pieces about 6–7 cm wide, flatten both sides with the back of a knife to tenderize the meat, and make a small incision at the bottom end to prevent curling during frying; place the ribs in an enamel container, add wine, soy sauce, scallions, ginger, mix well, marinate for half an hour, then drain off excess sauce; heat oil to seven-tenths hot, fry the ribs, stir continuously, about 2 minutes until golden brown, remove and drain oil, arrange on plate; separately heat a pan, add sesame oil, then sugar and tomato paste as needed, along with the goji berry concentrate and a little clear broth, bring to boil, thicken with wet starch slurry, pour over the ribs on the plate. Functions: nourish yin, replenish blood, improve vision, enhance health.
