Honeysuckle Drink
[Ingredients] Honeysuckle 20 grams, hawthorn 10 grams, honey 250 grams.
[Preparation] Place honeysuckle and hawthorn in a clay pot, add appropriate water, bring to a boil over high heat, after 5 minutes extract the first decoction, add water again and extract a second time. Combine both decoctions, add honey, stir well to mix.
[Usage] Three times daily, or drink at any time.
[Action] Pungent-cool exterior-releasing, clearing heat and detoxifying. Suitable for common cold.
[Commentary] Honeysuckle has pungent-cool properties, disperses exterior pathogens and clears heat-toxins; it can also be brewed with tea leaves.
