Donkey-hide Gelatin Beef Soup
[Ingredients] 15 grams donkey-hide gelatin, 100 grams beef, 20 milliliters rice wine, 10 grams fresh ginger.
[Preparation] Remove tendons from beef, cut into slices, place with ginger and rice wine in a clay pot, add sufficient water, simmer gently for 30 minutes, then add donkey-hide gelatin and seasonings until dissolved.
[Usage] One dose daily, eat meat and drink soup.
[Function] Nourish yin and blood, warm and strengthen the spleen. Suitable for menstrual irregularities, delayed menstruation, dizziness, blurred vision, palpitations, poor sleep, pale complexion, or fetal restlessness.
[Comment] Donkey-hide gelatin is sweet and mild, capable of replenishing blood, stopping bleeding, regulating menstruation, and stabilizing fetus. Beef strengthens the spleen and generates blood. Combined with donkey-hide gelatin, it enhances warming and blood supplementation. With ginger and rice wine, it further enhances spleen-stomach harmonization. It can be used for all conditions due to spleen deficiency and qi-blood insufficiency.
