Stir-fried Yellow Flowered Pig Kidney
[Ingredients] 500 grams pig kidney, 50 grams daylily flowers, appropriate amounts of ginger, green onion, peanut oil, salt, sugar, cornstarch.
[Preparation] Split the pig kidney, remove membrane and odor glands, wash, cut into pieces. Soak daylily flowers in water until soft, cut into segments. Heat peanut oil in wok, sauté green onion and ginger first, then quickly stir-fry pig kidney until color changes and cooked through. Add daylily flowers, salt, sugar, stir-fry, then add cornstarch, cook until sauce becomes clear and glossy, then serve.
[Usage] Serve as a side dish or consume in portions.
[Function] Tonify kidney and spleen, consolidate essence. Suitable for kidney deficiency with lower back pain, premature ejaculation, impotence, and insufficient lactation in postpartum women.
[Comment] Pig kidney tonifies kidney and strengthens waist; modern research shows pig kidney shares similar components with human kidney, thus beneficial for kidney function, consistent with TCM theory of "treating organ with organ." Regular consumption benefits those with kidney deficiency.
