Sophora Flower Tea
[Ingredients] 10 grams dried sophora flowers (20 grams if dry material).
[Preparation] Place dried sophora flowers in a covered cup, pour boiling water over them.
[Usage] Drink frequently like tea; typically can be re-steeped 3–5 times.
[Benefits] Softens blood vessels, lowers lipids and blood pressure, cools blood and stops bleeding. Mainly used for various types of atherosclerosis; especially suitable for atherosclerosis combined with hypertension, liver fire rising, and risk of cerebral hemorrhage.
[Note] Sophora flowers contain abundant rutin, and high levels of vitamin A and vitamin C. These components significantly soften blood vessels, reduce capillary permeability and fragility, enhance capillary resistance, and help prevent cerebral hemorrhage in hypertensive patients. Additionally, components in sophora flowers dilate coronary arteries, improve myocardial circulation, and lower blood pressure.
