Fruits According to Illness Conditions
Fever patients: Prefer fruits rich in potassium and high in water content, such as pears and oranges.
Diarrhea patients: Prefer fruits with astringent properties like waxberries, grapes, pomegranates, and apples. Avoid plums, peaches, and bananas.
Hepatitis patients: Prefer fruits like jujubes and oranges that lower blood pressure and alleviate vascular hardening.
Myocardial infarction and stroke patients: Prefer oranges, bananas, peaches, etc., to maintain smooth bowel movements and prevent constipation.
Respiratory infection patients: Prefer fruits like loquat, Buddha’s hand, oranges, and pears that help dissolve phlegm, moisten lungs, and relieve cough.
Asthma patients: Avoid jujubes, as they tend to generate phlegm, increase heat, and cause indigestion.
