Pay Attention to Self-Detoxification in Spring
Spring weather is dry, causing excessive loss of bodily fluids and toxin accumulation. This may lead to unexplained headaches, rapid weight gain, constipation, bad breath, facial pigmentation, bloated abdomen, dull skin, insomnia, poor concentration, inexplicable depression, and acne. Therefore, regularly reducing toxin damage becomes increasingly important.
· Drink More Water
Excretion is a key method of detoxification. Drinking at least two liters of water daily helps flush toxins through urine, easing kidney load—a simple and effective method. Remember: drink eight full glasses daily. You’ll notice brighter skin reflecting improved constitution.
· Regular Exfoliation
Old, dead skin cells block pores and hinder toxin elimination. Regular exfoliation helps maintain normal skin metabolism.
· Steam Baths
One steam bath or sauna weekly speeds up metabolism and aids detoxification and beautification. However, remember to hydrate: drink a glass before bathing to accelerate detox, and another after to replenish fluids and expel remaining toxins. Avoid applying moisturizing oils before steaming, as they may clog pores and impair detoxification.
· Change Eating Habits
Replace processed foods with natural ones. Fresh fruits are powerful cleansers—pineapple, papaya, kiwi, and pear are excellent choices. Constipation arises because intestinal motility is insufficient. Eating more fiber-rich foods like brown rice, vegetables, and fruits increases bowel movements and reduces constipation.
