Compound Dicha Wine (Burns)
[Formula] Green Tea, Coptis, Phellodendron each 100 grams, Borneol 30–50 grams, 80% alcohol 1000 milliliters.
[Preparation] Grind the first three ingredients finely, combine with borneol in a container, add 80% liquor, seal, soak for 3 days, filter, collect the juice, store in bottle for later use.
[Function] Clears heat, detoxifies, astringent, relieves pain.
[Indication] Burns.
[Usage] External use. First clean the wound with 0.1% cetavlon solution, remove blisters, dead skin, and debris. Then rinse thoroughly with sterile saline solution. Use sterilized gauze to dab dry the wound. Place a sterile sheet underneath. Apply 1% Dyclonine solution (no more than 1 gram total) externally to relieve pain. After 2–3 minutes, spray or rub this medicinal wine (liquid) onto the wound to form a crust. In early stage, spray the liquid 3 times every 2–4 hours, and use a hair dryer or electric fan to dry the wound to promote crust formation. Once the crust is firm, spray once or twice daily.
[Note] Quoted from "Therapeutic Methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine: Fumigation, Washing, and Rubbing for Various Diseases". To avoid prolonged pressure on the wound during treatment, turn the patient frequently—every 2–3 hours. For cases with infection or fluid accumulation under the crust, perform debridement and drainage as needed, repeatedly applying medication to form a new crust.
